Simpler than ever an existing customer may be found through 7 search fields:
Simpler than ever an existing customer may be found through 7 search fields:
- Name
- Policy Number
- Email Address
- Street Address
- DL#
- Cancellation Date
- Expiration Dates
The "Search" button with no information on the search field will access the entire policy database.
The search will find 2 types of policies either Pronto Texas Personal Insurance policy number looks like this: "PR-0000000000-00" Or Pronto Flex "FX-0000000000-00". Depending on type of access Producer will access and service each.
Captive Agencies, Virtual Agency and Franchises may service each other's policies, while each Independent Agent may only serviced their own. The policy registry will be found on the system, but it won't be accessible to any agency other than theirs. A warning pop up window will direct the customer to their office of inception, see example below.
CHANGING AGENT OF RECORD
As a company our number one priority is to service our insureds and provide a positive customer experience. Every so often our insureds will visit a location outside of their agent of record which may prompt a different approach to assist them. Underwriting can support your agency in servicing the needs of our insured which includes taking payments, making amendments and even cancellations. In those cases where the main insured prompts to change their agency of record, the following process will need to be followed:
Effective 2/14/2017 all Agent of Record change requests will go through Underwriting. Upon approval change will take 5 business days. The official form will be required and Underwriting will need to speak with in the insured for acknowledgement.
Agent of Record change request process:
- Submit this request form via email or fax: email: underwriting@prontoinsurance.com, or Fax: (956) 574-9226.
- Contact Underwriting in the presence of the customer 1 (855) 808-7785.
- Underwriting will review the request after gaining confirmation from the main insured.
- If the request is approved then the change will become effective in 5 business days through a future dated amendment. During this time the original agent will be notified of the request and Underwriting can assist with servicing the customer.
